Sonali Deshpande is a program analyst on EDF's Federal Climate Innovation team, where she conducts research and analysis on policies that will enhance the federal innovation ecosystem in order to meet U.S. climate goals. Her areas of focus include carbon removal, clean manufacturing, and green banks, among other climate solutions.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Sonali worked as a policy communications intern at the Sierra Club. She also served on Vassar College's Climate Action and Sustainability Committee, where she helped to implement the school's commitment to net-zero emissions by 2030. She holds a BA in Economics from Vassar College and is a graduate of the London School of Economics' General Course program.
