    Diane provides overall program vision, strategy and leadership. She previously led EDF’s oceans program as it transformed the U.S. fishing industry through catch shares management. Prior to that, Diane worked at EPA in some of the agency’s highest positions.

    Chief Scientist

    Steven ensures the scientific integrity of EDF’s positions and programs. He has been involved in biogeochemistry/forest ecology research for more than 25 years and has published more than 100 scientific papers. As a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Steven was acknowledged as one of the contributing recipients of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

    VP Asia

    An economist, Dr. Dudek leads EDF’s office in China. He is widely credited with developing the cap-and-trade model that the U.S. adopted for sulfur dioxide in the early 1990s, which led to dramatic reductions in acid rain.

    Elizabeth oversees the organization’s federal advocacy efforts, with a particular focus on climate change. She has an extensive policy and legislative background and, in her prior role as Legislative Director, was lead strategist for EDF on the U.S. Climate Action Partnership.
