Agriculture, climate mitigation, climate resilience, conservation, farm bill, policy and politics
Callie leads EDF’s advocacy for and implementation of climate-smart agriculture policy at the federal level, working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Congress. She was instrumental in creating the Food and Agriculture Climate Alliance, an unprecedented group of agricultural and environmental advocates working together to advance climate policy.
Background
Callie brings more than 20 years of political, legal and legislative experience to her work at EDF. She got her start traveling the country working to elect women to office, but soon turned her focus to policy work in the House of Representatives and at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She specializes in the intersection of agriculture and climate change.
