Richie Ahuja leads EDF’s global climate-smart agriculture work, addressing development and resource challenges while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the sector. He spearheads EDF’s engagement in India supporting the country’s shift to a prosperous low-carbon future.
Richie is a leading global expert on climate-smart agricultural practices, including a focus on practices to reduce methane emissions from livestock. He supports initiatives such as the Global Alliance for Climate-Smart Agriculture, which EDF was integral in launching.
Background
Richie is an expert in international business, having received his MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and his B. Com (honors) from St. Xavier’s College in Calcutta, India.
