Liana's work at EDF is currently focused on reducing harmful air pollution from the power plant sector.

Background

Before joining EDF, Liana worked at the Clean Air Task Force in Colorado as an International Advisor where she represented the Clean Shipping Coalition at the United Nations’ International Maritime Organization as part of a campaign to ban the use of heavy fuel oil by ships operating in the Arctic, provided strategy support for a coalition of NGOs to encourage black carbon emission reductions in the Arctic and analyzed legal methods for regulating greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. She also served as the Advisor to the Director of the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System at the John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship in Washington DC.
