As Program Coordinator, Kate leads the planning of both the EDF Climate Corps Fellow Training and the Annual Network Event. She also manages summer fellowships and contributes to fellow and host recruiting.
EDF Climate Corps is an innovative summer fellowship program that places specially trained MBA and MPA students in companies, cities, and universities to build the business case for energy efficiency.
Prior to joining EDF, Kate completed a fellowship at Root Cause, researching and writing a social impact report on youth career development. She also spent a summer in DC interviewing social/environmental entrepreneurs for the William James Foundation. For her dual degree graduate capstone project, she wrote a business plan for a team of engineers who invented a new type of wave energy converter.
