Chaprece contributes to the success of EDF Climate Corps, an innovative summer fellowship program that places specially-trained MBA and MPA students in companies, cities and universities to build the business case for energy efficiency.

Chaprece manages relationships with host organization and develop partnerships to amplify the impact of EDF Climate Corps’ results. She helps identify leading practices about energy management from EDF Climate Corps to share with large users of energy, including companies, municipalities and minority-serving institutions.


Chaprece earned B.A. degrees in History and Latin American studies from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Massachusetts. She perfected her Spanish language skills during a year in Lima, Peru, when she served as a youth counselor working with underprivileged special needs children, and securing funding for much needed medical supplies. She also spent time in the Dominican Republic working on community development, constructing homes and implementing new farming techniques that resulted in a 40% increase in productivity.
