Meet the people making fishing more sustainable in a changing climate

These are the people who know better than anyone what climate change is doing to our oceans.

They are the fishers who see firsthand the declining fish populations, increasingly common extreme weather events and other disruptions. They're also the ones doing something about it.

Watch the video to see why they're hopeful, in their own words.

By changing how, when and where they fish, they’re making sure oceans and fishing communities around the world thrive.

EDF is working together with these fishers in their communities — on the ground and in the waters — to make fishing more sustainable in places where people depend on the seas as a source of food and income.
