Description
As a Senior Attorney on EDF’s Clean Transportation team, Tom advocates for clean transportation policies at the state level, with a focus on California motor vehicle emission standards. His work includes advocacy to protect California’s longstanding authority under the Clean Air Act and advance new legislation and regulations that promote adoption of clean vehicles.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Tom worked in municipal government and in private practice. While in private practice, he represented a variety of clients, including clean energy trade associations and a coalition of companies advocating for the advancement of the electric vehicle supply chain. Tom clerked for Judge Susan P. Graber of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge James V. Selna of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He is admitted to practice law in Alaska and California.
