Description
Ivy McElroy supports EDF’s efforts to advance sustainable groundwater management through multibenefit land repurposing in California. Through research, analysis and communications, Ivy highlights the importance of agricultural and rural community resilience and inclusive water and land-use decision-making.
Background
Before joining the Climate Resilient Water Systems Program in 2025, Ivy interned for EDF’s Climate Resilient Coasts and Watersheds Program in 2023 and 2024 to support their work in flood resilience and nature-based solutions. She then transitioned to a consulting role for EDF as a subject matter expert on research, advocacy and land use policies to protect wetlands in the wake of the Sackett v. EPA Supreme Court decision.
