Description

Ellen leads the implementation of EDF+Business’ Net Zero Accelerator, which is designed to arm companies with the climate implementation and innovation capacity needed to set us on a path to net zero emissions by 2050. Previously, Ellen was a member of the EDF Climate Corps team, helping to deliver the innovative fellowship program that places top tier graduate students in leading companies, cities and universities to accelerate clean energy projects.

As Manager, Ellen oversees engagement management operations, manages the program’s thought leadership efforts, and is working on the development of new program initiatives. She also manages the program’s metrics and data, manages summer fellowships and contributes to fellow and host recruiting.

Background

Ellen leads the implementation of EDF+Business’ Net Zero Accelerator, which is designed to arm companies with the climate implementation and innovation capacity needed to set us on a path to net zero emissions by 2050. Previously, Ellen worked on the EDF Climate Corps team since 2014. Prior to joining EDF, she worked with the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts where she helped perform sustainability audits of local businesses. Through her Simmons MBA coursework she developed supplier codes of conduct and estimated carbon emissions in manufacturing supply chains. Prior to her MBA, Ellen worked at MIT in higher education administration and she holds her undergraduate degree in English from Boston University.
