Description

Aaron Feng is a Senior Manager, Energy Transition at EDF +Business team, where he focuses on advancing the energy transition progress of global oil and gas sector and investor engagement in methane mitigation. At EDF, he leads the integration of MethaneSAT data with financial market stakeholders, spearheading the development of data-driven tools and strategies to help investors identify climate risks and drive corporate accountability. 

Background

Prior to joining EDF, Aaron worked at Credit Suisse as a key member of the Sustainability Strategy & Net Zero team, where he supported the bank’s net-zero commitment and advised senior leadership on sustainable finance, carbon markets and environmental data transformation. He holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University, with a focus on sustainable finance and energy transition, and has studied at Tsinghua University and Vanderbilt University. His cross-border expertise spans sustainable investment practice in both China and the U.S., including private equity at the US-China Green Fund and sustainable energy/infrastructure projects across emerging markets like India and East Africa. Aaron is dedicated to bridging science, policy and capital to elevate methane from a climate science issue to a mainstream priority in global finance.
