Trump EPA Will Not Strengthen Limits on Hazardous Pollution from Oil and Gas Sector
Statement by EDF Senior Director for Methane and Clean Air Policy, Rosalie Winn
“The Trump EPA is once again taking steps that will result in more dangerous pollution from the oil and gas sector in the air we breathe. This is the latest in a series of steps the administration has taken to roll back commonsense protections against oil and gas pollution, and unfortunately it may not be the last. These actions are especially problematic because there are readily available solutions to reduce this pollution – solutions that would protect human health and safety, prevent waste of an energy resource, and save Americans money.”
