Living style guide / Mosaic

Mosaics work best in 1-column pages where they can break out of either side of the container, like the below. See the next section for how to treat a potential situation with a mosaic when in 2-column territory.

2-column options

↑ / At this width, a mosaic treatment doesn't work as well as a carousel. Another option might be to add a new section with 1 column where you want the mosaic and drop it in there, then go back to a 2-col if needed in another new section.

↑ / When mosaics are placed in columns, it can result in a very messy feel. They're also hard to pair content with to the right due to different margins, etc.

← / Carousel use

It's best to use something like a carousel instead of a mosaic on two-column pages for layout reasons. It resizes better.
