Description
Rohemir is a Director in EDF’s Clean Transportation team, where he focuses on decarbonization of international shipping and aviation while also contributing across other transport areas. He also works on policy, analysis and strategy that support decarbonization efforts in the United States, advancing opportunities for climate action at all levels.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Rohemir spent over five years at the U.S. Department of State where he specialized in matters related to carbon markets and international shipping and aviation emissions.
Prior to joining the U.S. Department of State, Rohemir was a staff attorney for the Conservation Law Foundation working in the Clean Energy & Climate Change and Clean Air and Water Programs. He was also a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Juan R. Torruella of the United States Court of Appeals and an Honors attorney fellow at the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 1.
