Senior Analyst, Community Engagement

Michael is the senior analyst for community engagement, assisting with research, data analysis, and project management. Alongside Dr. Tonya Howard Calhoun, he provides key analysis and research to support the Community Engagement team as they work to put communities at the center of climate solutions.
Prior to joining EDF, Michael served as a research analyst at Northwestern University’s Global Poverty Research Lab. Michael worked under Dean Karlan, current Chief Economist at USAID. In this role, he worked on multiple projects aimed at assisting those in need, including assessing large nonprofits on measures of impact and transparency.
