Description

Anne Senft brings a powerful combination of strategic vision and collaborative leadership to EDF, with more than 30 years’ experience in fundraising. She’s known for fostering transparency, encouraging creativity and building high-performing teams, having joined EDF in 2019 and embodying our approach of finding and scaling the ways that work.

Background

Before coming to EDF, Senft worked several years for a fundraising consulting firm, specializing in animal welfare groups and environmental organizations. Prior to that work, she spent 12 years at the National Wildlife Federation in various capacities, eventually leading the organization’s Development department.

She is a longtime member of the board of the Humane Society of Loudoun County in Virginia, overseeing the organization's fundraising and marketing efforts. She also serves on the board of advisors for Julia Hospice & Palliative Care in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Education

Senft earned a bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. 

Certification

Senft holds a Certified Fundraising Executive certification.
