Shuo Gao is a senior modeling analyst for the China Energy Modeling Forum. His work includes reference energy system models for long-term planning and unit-commitment economic dispatch models for power system and market analysis.

Background

Shuo joined EDF’s Beijing office in 2017. Prior to joining EDF, Shuo was a research associate at Duke University and provided consulting services for Southern Company.

Education

Shuo received his Master of Environmental Management in Energy and Environment from Duke University and his Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Urban and Rural Planning and Resource Management from Peking University.
