As a senior manager for Oceans, Fang Sun helped launch and manages the EDF Oceans initiative in China and channels EDF’s global sustainable fisheries management experience into building research collaborations, growing diverse new partnerships, and supporting development of scientific and management capacity.

Background

Prior to her Oceans work, Fang was responsible for developing low carbon farming projects, handling areas including project design, GHG emission reduction accounting, and carbon sequestration and emissions reduction methodology development. She joined the EDF team in 2008.

Education

Fang received her Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2008.
