Overall Function


The Manager will provide technical leadership for solution architecture development and review with regard to integration, design and implementation of all data related initiatives within the organization. The position is responsible for the oversight and integration of EDF data from various data sources (CRM, Membership,  etc.) throughout the organization.  The Manager oversees the data integration between applications both off the shelf and custom. The Manager will work with both transactional and analytical data and be responsible for coordinating feeds to and from the data warehouse and be accountable and responsible for data quality and integrity. The Manager reports to the Director of Data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the data models of all relevant applications including Salesforce NPSP, Classy, Unica and Adestra, and advance EDF’s move toward an enterprise wide Master Data Management system
  • Maintain data dictionaries and mapping schemes
  • Conduct discovery, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for the remediation of data quality issues
  • Coordinate, Monitor and Manage data feeds to and from applications, including ancillary tools like EveryAction, Phone2Action, Mobilize, ThruText, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications, Performance Marketing and Membership teams on their individual data needs, including supporting the teams in their use of the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Participates in advancing EDF DEI goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the experiences fell connected, included and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values
  • Provide Database expertise on the vetting of new applications and services
  • Help develop the Strategy for developing Operational Data Management, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management and Business Intelligence capabilities that enable efficient operations, and intelligent decision making



  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in database management
  • 5+ years of SQL experience with an enterprise data warehouse and BI tools, experience with Snowflake and Tableau preferred
  • 3+ year of experience working with ETL and integration tools, experience with Informatica is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working with Marketing and/or Annual Giving data
  • Experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, advocacy and online petition platforms, online fundraising systems, and/or Snowflake as a data warehouse is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, of varying priority and scope
  • Strong communication skills, with both highly technical and lay users
  • Demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds

Hiring Range

We offer a strong total rewards package encompassing competitive salary, robust benefits, and professional development opportunities consistent with a modern global organization.

The pay range for this role is 98,000 - 108,000 USD which takes into account factors such as candidate experience, skills, training, internal team equity and local norms.
