Overall Function

 

The Cloud Administrator will focus on the security, management, and support of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and other cloud platforms as needed. You will be expected to configure and secure Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft ATP(Advanced Threat Protection), SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune/Endpoint Management. This position reports to Director of Technology Infrastructure and will assist in carrying out other infrastructure related projects, in addition to supporting the Azure eco-system.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay abreast of the dynamic Microsoft Azure eco-system and proactively make recommendations to support the changing demands of the organization.

  • Support Microsoft Exchange Online Environment, configure policies around ATP and monitoring mail.

  • Support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

  • Administration of Microsoft Intune/ Endpoint Manager.

  • Administer, manage, and implement changes to the enterprise Microsoft 365 environment including hybrid-environments, Microsoft Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) and Azure Active Directory Connect.

  • Work with other members of the IT team to ensure security standards and best practices are applied and maintained across the Office 365 environment.

  • Participates in advancing EDF DEI goals in which people from all backgrounds and experiences feel connected, included, and empowered to address the environmental and organizational challenges in alignment with EDF values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and four years of related experience or related field, or equivalent applicable experience or training

  • Some enterprise level experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration.

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory services and security.

  • General understanding of networking concepts and Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.

  • General understanding of Microsoft SharePoint Online with an understanding of overall architecture, hierarchy, and administration.

  • Knowledge of working with Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

  • Basic experience with network principles and Windows operating systems.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of staff and team members, including senior management, vendors and users.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
