Sabin Center, EDF Launch Website to Track Inflation Reduction Act’s Climate Provisions

EDF and partners convened an international task force of crustacean fishery scientists and managers from China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the United States in the summer of 2020: the Crustacean Task Force.

This announcement builds on past successes, with a plan to accelerate action in the years to come.

What will it take to decarbonize the gas distribution system? EDF and partners produced a new report setting out guiding principles and strategies to inform decarbonization of the gas utility and corresponding end uses.

Last January, FBN and EDF launched the $25 million RAF pilot program and provided nearly 50 farmers with seasonal lines of credit of up to $5 million. EDF provides oversight related to the environmental criteria required for RAF eligibility. RAF will double in size to $50 million in operating lines for the coming season and anticipates originating up to $1 billion in climate-smart operating lines over the next five years.
