Partnering for Latino health and the environment

EDF is teaming up with some of the leading Latino advocacy organizations in the United States to raise awareness and increase action on the environmental issues that impact our health — like asthma, air pollution, and the dangerous effects of climate change.

Our partners

EDF has been a proud partner of Green Latinos since the organization’s first National Green Latinos summit.  Our staff are among the many Green Latinos in this network who are working to protect clean air, clean water, and a safe climate for all Americans.  Join us at the next summit.

In 2016, EDF and Hispanic Federation brought a high-level conversation about climate change to Washington, D.C.  With so many Latinos on the front lines, Latino leaders must be among the decision-makers helping create solutions to our changing climate.  Watch the panel discussion »

Since 2013, EDF and the League of United Latin American Citizens have partnered to raise awareness and action among LULAC members and the broader Latino community about environmental issues affecting Latino health.

EDF is proud to work with the National Association of Latino Elected Officials to empower Latino lawmakers to take leadership on environmental issues.  If you are a Latino lawmaker, consider joining us at one of NALEO’s events in 2017.

Our youth are our future.  EDF partners with Voto Latino to raise awareness and engagement among young Americans on the critical issues affecting our lives and our futures.  Follow Voto Latino on Facebook or read about our Pop-Up Power Summit in Miami.

Latino leadership on climate change and environmental issues is critical.  That’s why EDF works with Latino Victory Project to equip Latino leaders with the facts and skills they need to represent America’s communities.
