Menan Omar is a Research Analyst in the Office of Economic Policy and Analysis at EDF. She conducts research and provides economic analysis to support the development of market-based solutions to environmental and energy issues.
Background
Before joining EDF, Menan pursued a Master Degree in Public Administration with a focus on energy and environmental policy at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs. She spent the first year of her graduate program at the London School of Economics studying economic policy analysis. During her time in New York, she worked with the United Nations Development Program and the World Bank on climate change mitigation projects. Prior to that, she worked at the World Trade Organization where she conducted research on differential climate change policies and international trade.
