Work
Marita is the coordinator for EDF’s Energy Program, working on issues such as smart grid development, renewables, demand response, and policy involving the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). Specifically she is helping to construct the environmental metrics for Pecan Street Inc., a smart grid demonstration project in Austin, Texas in which EDF is a partner.
Background
Prior to working at EDF, Marita interned on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and worked for various environmental non-profits in California and Texas.
