Katie is the carbon market analyst responsible for tracking the California’s landmark cap-and-trade program. She uses data to assess the current and future health of the market and inform sound policy recommendations.
Prior to working at EDF, Katie conducted research on access to clean drinking water in the capital of Guatemala. For her thesis work, she developed a more energy efficient method of disinfecting water aimed for implementation in areas with limited access to potable water.
Katie attended Princeton University where she received a B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy.
