Work
As Outreach Coordinator, Kate focuses on the efforts of Environmental Defense Fund’s Corporate Partnerships Programs to reduce emissions from freight transportation. In this role, Kate focuses on engaging with companies and sharing best practices to increase the carbon efficiency of goods movement in the supply chain.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Kate completed a fellowship at Root Cause, researching and writing a social impact report on youth career development. She also spent a summer in DC interviewing social/environmental entrepreneurs for the William James Foundation. For her dual degree graduate capstone project, she wrote a business plan for a team of engineers who invented a new type of wave energy converter.
