Description

Isabel serves as both the Associate Vice President for the Moms Clean Air Force Public Engagement team and as Director of EcoMadres, our Latino engagement program. Isabel leads media initiatives, oversees membership growth, and spearheads website development. She also serves as an advocate, representing Moms Clean Air Force and EcoMadres to legislators on Capitol Hill and before key federal agencies.

Background

Before joining Moms Clean Air Force, Isabel González Whitaker was the Chief Operating Officer of All in Together, a leading nonprofit dedicated to advancing women’s leadership through civic participation, and the Principal Advisor of Executive Strategic Communications for ALSAC, the $2B+ annual fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Isabel was the Scholar in Residence at Rhodes College 2018-2019 and was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar in 2018. She is currently a CoGenerate senior fellow, and gave a TedXAtlanta Talk in 2023 on the power of civic engagement to improve community and sustain democracy.
