As Senior Project Manager of Green Returns in our Corporate Partnerships Program, Audrey is helping lead Environmental Defense Fund's Green Returns Initiative with leaders in the private equity sector, including Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR), The Carlyle Group and others. Audrey is working to roll out analytic tools and approaches to EDF’s private equity partners, helping them to realize new, environmentally driven business value. In addition, Audrey is exploring new partnership opportunities with the potential to deliver scalable, industry-wide benefits.
- Green Portfolio Project – Developing tools for KKR’s global portfolio of companies to track and improve environmental performance
- EcoValuScreen – Screening new investments at Carlyle to identify the most promising environmental management opportunities
Audrey’s original appointment to the Environmental Defense Fund was through the Geballe Fellowship, a two-year competitive program designed to train rising business leaders in Environmental Defense Fund's approach to achieving environmental solutions with business benefits.
Background
Prior to Environmental Defense Fund, Audrey worked for The Nature Conservancy's Science and Planning Team in California, Google's Green Business Team and Redstone Strategy Group. She was also a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia where she studied marine protected area management schemes.
Audrey is currently teaching Principles of Sustainable Management at the Presidio School of Management. Previously, she taught Strategic Management for Sustainability at Johns Hopkins Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
