Work

Ashley Rood manages projects for our Working Lands program. Ashley’s current work is focused on building relationships with ranchers to find new ways of managing western rangelands to benefit not only their bottom line, but our air, soil, and water. Since starting at EDF in 2005, Ashley has also worked closely with our California water program and our Living Cities program.

Background

Ashley comes to EDF with a background in sustainable agriculture and food system advocacy. Recent publications include co-author of Renewing America's Food Traditions: Saving and Savoring the Continent's Most Endangered Foods.
