Alisha is a Project Manager for EDF's corporate retail team based out of Bentonville, AR. Her main focus is to serve as our lead scientific liaison and coordinate EDF's technical and scientific efforts interacting with The Sustainability Consortium (TSC).
Alisha holds a BS in Field Biology and an MBA from the Walton College Graduate School of Business at the University of Arkansas, where she also worked at the Applied Sustainability Center. Through field work in Africa and Australia and as a zookeeper at the Jacksonville Zoological Gardens in Florida, Alisha spent the first several years of her career focusing on wildlife conservation. She also worked at the nation’s first federally funded sanctuary, Chimp Haven, Inc., where she worked to rehabilitate chimpanzees formerly used in research.
Most recently, Alisha was a Program Officer for Agriculture at WWF where she focused on dairy under WWF's Market Transformation Initiative. She managed WWF’s partnership with the Innovation Center for US Dairy and worked on their goal of a 25% reduction in GHG emissions by 2020.
