Work

Janea Scott is a senior attorney at Environmental Defense Fund, working on air quality issues at the national and community level.

In 2006, Janea moved from the New York office, where she worked for 6 years, to the Los Angeles office. Her current projects include:

• defending key components of the Clean Air Act,
• securing reductions in pollution from diesel engines,
• encouraging reductions in the pollution that causes acid rain and global warming, and
• advocating for strong plans to protect public health from ozone and fine particle pollution.
