Work
Peter Goldmark directs the Climate and Air program for EDF. Before coming to EDF, Mr. Goldmark was the chairman and CEO of the International Herald Tribune, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the budget director for the State of New York.
He also served as president of the Rockefeller Foundation, encouraging its involvement in environmental issues, particularly as they related to energy.
Additionally, Mr. Goldmark has taught at Harvard, Yale College, The New School, Brandeis University and Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is a recipient of the Wilson Wyatt National Award for Urban Revitalization and a member of the Legion of Honor, France.
Peter focuses on global warming, public policy and management, journalism, philanthropy, mutual funds and accounting.
