Bay Farms Project

Partnering with farmers to benefit lands

The Bay Farms Project is a voluntary, cooperative project in the Chesapeake Bay watershed in Pennsylvania's Lancaster and Chester counties. It helps farmers make their nutrient use more efficient.

Innovative tools, such as cornstalk and pre-sidedress nitrate tests, can help farmers save money and yield environmental benefits to farmers and the surrounding area.

The Bay Farms Project is made possible thanks to the financial support of National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Philanthropic Collaborative, and the collaboration and support of Pennsylvania NRCS and Pennsylvania State Conservation Commission, as well as the work of our many partners.
