About This Campaign

We've launched our Transportation Transformation Campaign to educate and engage our online supporters and the general public about the need to adopt innovative transportation solutions to fight gridlock, reduce traffic and cut pollution.

We're asking folks to take our Transportation Transformation pledge to support smart transportation reforms. Every action taker will contribute "transformation points" to his or her state total.

Participants in the state with the most transformation points at the end of our campaign will get bragging rights and a special thank you message from our leading program staff. And, don't worry, we've leveled the playing field with a transformation index allowing less populous states to compete.

We will also share your pledges with local, state and national transportation planners to show how important transportation reforms are. So take action and rack up points. Go ahead. Make your state proud.

Transformation Index:

Each state's score is calculated by multiplying the points earned by the state index - which is calculated based on the State's total population.

Will your state win the Transportation Transformation?
By taking our Transportation Pledge, making some personal changes in your daily life, and spreading the word, you'll score "transformation points" for your state while helping decrease your carbon emissions that contribute to global warming.

How's it work?
You'll earn 10 points for taking our Transportation Pledge.
You'll earn 2 points for each personal action you pledge to do.
You'll earn 1 point for each friend you tell.

What'll you win?
A special message from our Transportation experts, state bragging rights, and the knowledge that people in your state have banded together in action to help stop global warming.
