Deadlines for MBA Students
- Nov 13 - 14, 2009: Net Impact Conference at Cornell University. EDF staff will be present to speak with prospective fellows at the Expo. Candidates are encouraged to stop by the EDF booth and attend the Climate Corps panel on Friday to learn more about the program.
- Jan 11, 2010 at 5pm PST: Climate Corps application deadline. Fellows must submit their online applications via the Net Impact website. More about the online application »
- Jan 7 - Feb 5, 2010: Net Impact reviews applications. Net Impact and EDF conduct interviews.
- Feb 5, 2010: EDF makes offers to Round 1 fellows, accepting 25 Round 1 fellows. Applicants who have not received Round 1 offers will be automatically considered in Round 2. More about the application process »
- Feb 12, 2010: Fellows must accept or reject Round 1 offers. Offers are accepted before fellows are matched with host companies.
- Feb 12 - Mar 1, 2010: Net Impact will match Round 1 fellows with host companies. Matching will be based on applicants' relevant experience, host company needs and applicant preferences. Fellows will have an opportunity to speak with host company supervisors during this matching process. More about matching process »
- Mar 1 - Apr 15, 2010: Round 2 fellows will be accepted on a rolling basis as more companies join the program. During this time, fellows will finalize start date, create workplan and confirm logistics with host company and EDF.
- Apr 15, 2010: Those applicants who are not chosen for the Climate Corps program will be notified.
- Mid-May, 2010: Fellows will meet at EDF offices in San Francisco for Climate Corps Training.
- May - Sep, 2010: Fellows conduct internship work at host companies. Bi-weekly check-in and expert phone calls are facilitated by Net Impact and EDF throughout the summer. Final reports are due at the end of the internship.
