EDF is seeking corporate partners to host fellows in 2010. The company deadline of March 18, 2010 is quickly approaching.

How Hosting Works

This fellowship focuses on energy efficiency in commercial facilities, such as office buildings and data centers.

Important Hosting Details

  • Internships last a minimum of 10 weeks
  • Host companies pay interns their full summer salary
  • An energy audit should be performed before interns arrive or comprehensive energy information should be readily available
  • EDF will not refer to any company's program or results publicly without prior written approval
  • Partners should be committed to reducing their energy use, providing timely access to key employees and implementing feasible recommendations

Deadlines for Companies

  • Dec 23, 2009: Round 1 companies must confirm involvement
  • Feb 12 - Mar 1, 2010: Round 1 companies interview fellow for cultural fit and confirm match
  • Mar 18, 2010: Final company deadline for admission into the program
  • Apr 15, 2010: All companies will have confirmed participants by this date
