What landowners get
Payment for putting a permanent, 30 or 10-year easement on restored wetlands and financial assistance to cover up to 100% of the cost of restoring previously drained or converted wetlands
What landowners do
Retire marginal agricultural lands or restore previously drained or converted wetlands
Land types covered
Wetlands, farmed wetlands, prior converted farmland, farmed wetland pasture, riparian areas that link protected wetlands, lands adjacent to wetlands, previously restored wetlands, farmland that has become a wetland due to flooding, and degraded wetlands that can be restored
