Rachel works with market-leading companies to create environmental improvements that make business sense.
Rachel currently manages recruitment efforts for Climate Corps, an innovative summer fellowship program that places talented MBA students into leading companies to develop practical, actionable energy efficiency plans aimed cutting costs. She also works on partnerships in the transportation sector, building on our partnership with FedEx Express, as well as the paper and packaging industry.
Her areas of expertise:
- Climate Corps: Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in commercial buildings
- Speeding the commercialization of hybrid trucks: Encouraging the widespread adoption of these high efficiency trucks
- Paper Calculator: Calculate environmental impacts of paper choices
- Restaurant Associates: Developed set of green dining best practices
Background
Rachel holds an M.S. from Tufts University’s Agriculture, Food, and Environment program and a B.A. from Bates College.
Prior to EDF, Rachel was a research analyst at a consulting firm where she explored industry trends, regulatory policy, and supply chain management in the food, renewable energy, and agribusiness industries.
