What landowners get
Rental payments (10-, 15- or 30-year agreements) or easement payment (30-year or permanent), up to 90% of costs for restoration activities.
What landowners do
Protect, restore and enhance grasslands and/or maintain grazing operations to protect grasslands and pasture from conversion to other land uses
Land types covered
Privately owned and tribal lands, including grasslands, land that contains forb, or land that historically has been dominated by grassland, forbs, or shrubland that has potential to serve as wildlife habitat of significant ecological value
