Weekly spotlight: Innovation in the built environment
Located in Seattle, Fire Station 30 is a shining example of how local heroes can also be leaders in the community when it comes to sustainability. The facility is LEED Gold, and the highly transparent street façade allows passers-by to view activity within, creating a real sense of transparency, both literally and figuratively.
