Smart laws will be a key part of a secure, healthy future
In the long run, to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, Congress must act.
Right now, the most urgent priority is ensuring that the EPA uses the authority it already has to limit U.S. carbon pollution.
We can’t get to a safe climate without action by Congress, even under the most aggressive scenario of executive action.
